Seem fine for me, as stated in an earlier post, on max settings over 80Fps average. High spikes in open world 100-144 fps, no drops past 68 Fps.
Hope this helps someone.

Hamer, mine runs close to 100fps indoors but when you get down to the streets it drops dramatically, you must have reduced FOV/or not been outside yet.

Is it actually that poorly optimized? Or is it the fact that next gen games are starting to require next gen systems? I haven't tried this game yet. But I'm a firm believer that creating games that push what current "mid-high end" systems are able to handle is the right direction for gaming. We won't see the real future in gaming if we're stuck on systems from the past. Just my opinion. :)

Hmm most company/Devs nowadays I feel don't want to push the current mid builds. Feel they rather keep stuff down so more people with weaker builds can keep up even more so since they would make more cash by doing that But that's just my op

Which is why they still try to build games that can run on the 360. More people who can play. More money in there pocket.

Make sure the view distance it at the lowest. Other than that, not really. I get the same here, it's a lack of mutli-threaded optimization. Check the utilization of you CPU cores, you'll only see CPU1 at 100%, the rest barely being touched.

Yeah, I say the same thing. Turn down that render distance. It doesn't affect graphics or gameplay at all (maybe a little less detail at range, but is very hard to notice) yet it increases fps dramatically.

iv'e heard people on rigs close to mine have trouble outdoors, then someone with an identical rig said to drop the view distance, and he then had 40+fps so can i run it or should i wait for an optimization patch or something?

tried it last night : crossfire is diasabled , maxed out i am getting 60fps with some drops to 45 40, game looks awesome, the engine is similar to cryengine, did not played too much but this game does not look scary, i faced the zombies walked on the ground did not try to escape them they are not a big threat

At medium settings at a resolution such as 1280x720 you should be able to get 30 FPS. I recommend keeping distance view to a minimum.
