Full system requirements for Batman: Arkham City reported on Oct-20-2011

Batman: Arkham City is an action packed sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum released in 2009. The PC version is delayed to 15 November 2011 in North America and 18 November 2011 in the European countries. The game is available for pre-order from our partners at gamersgate.com for less than the listed price. Only the minimum requirements are out at the moment.

Lets take a look at the complete Batman: Arkham City system requirements...

Batman: Arkham City Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 4800+

RAM: 2 GB

GFX: ATI 3850HD 512 MB or NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB

DX: 9c

HDD: 17 GB Hard Disc space

Batman: Arkham City Recommended System Requirements

OS: Microsoft Windows 7

CPU: Dual core CPU 2.5 GHz

RAM: 4GB

GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460

As you can see the Batman Arkham City minimum system requirments are not too high but the recommended graphics card is a GTX460. Minimum requirements suggests a 3 year old computer should be able to pick up the strain but if you want to turn all graphical features on you had better be sporting a current card.

However, we are expecting this game to still be pretty accessible to mid range machines so check out our adjusted requirements listed on the game page and of course, when you get to play the game please let us know how it played on the ratings page.

Laptop, right? Go for med setting bro; you will get 40-50 fps. Thank God! That this game requirement is not insanely as other new game titles. Also this game is well optimized by your spec because it runs under Unreal Engine.

Yes this is on my laptop, already finished it with low settings and medium texture at a minimum of 50 FPS and had not problem except in detective mode where it drops to 40 FPS but that didn't bother me because it seemed smooth enough.

Could be throttling. Do you monitor your temps when overclocking? And I don't think overclocking that card would help much anyway. If any. If that's not it, I don't know then because you should handle high graphics easily.

I disagree, I have a slightly more powerful GPU and ran it on 1080p, high settings, got 30fps in the city and 60 indoors. But then again, he has a better CPU and twice as much RAM…
