Back of the Box
Earth, 2019.A team of US scientists makes a frightening discovery on an island in the South China Sea. All contact with the team is lost when the North Korean Government quickly seals off the area. The US responds by dispatching an elite team of Delta Force Operators to recon the situation. As tension rises between the two nations, a massive alien ship reveals itself in the middle of the island. The ship generates an immense force sphere that freezes a vast portion of the island and drastically alters the global weather system. Now the US and North Korea must join forces to battle the alien menace. With hope rapidly fading, you must fight epic battles through tropical jungle, frozen landscapes, and finally into the heart of the alien ship itself for the ultimate Zero G showdown.

I can run it at mid-to-high settings and get around 25 fps with a few tweaks that I found here: http://www.gamecritics.com/the-noobs-guide-to-optimizing-crysis

This game will not run on DX8… The last games to use DX8 were in 2004…

Pretty Good. It's kind of odd that today, the foliage of Crysis looks better than modern day games.

That is because this game was originally made for PC and then ported to console… If you look at the xbox 360 and PS3 versions of this game, you'll see that it looks like the PC version on low-medium but with slightly better lighting and much less draw distance…

I'm honestly surprised that my budget office PC can actually run this game. O_O

On high setting nonetheless and on the average of 50 frame-per-second (after setting post effects to medium) without any stuttering. =)
