Online Activation
The Witness can not be played without first activating the game online. Once activated the game may be playable offline. If our Online Only button is also highlighted then you will need constant online access
Downloadable Content
The Witness is intiailly released as a download. It is usually an expansion pack so check to see if you need a main game before getting this. The Witness may be released in the shops at a later stage
Netbook Ready
The Witness can be played on the low specced tiny netbooks. Be aware that you may need some additional software to get it working. Feel free to login and contact us about any netbook games we have overlooked

The Witness is available on the Sony PS4 console

The yet-completed version of the game allowed played to walk about the island from a first-person perspective. Throughout the island are blue panels that players can interact with; those seen in the demonstration were primarily mazes, requiring players to draw a line from a starting point to a finish point. Other panels showed more complex mazes to be completed. Completing each panel unlocked other areas to explore or panels to complete. Blow has stated that there is more to the game than these mazes, in response to concerns from players; to Blow, "the point is the magic that happens in the player's mind when he understands the subtle things that the mazes are saying - because the mazes aren't just puzzles, they are lines of communication that aggregate, become more complex and eventually say surprising things".
