Quick question. Would my CPU bottleneck one of these cards? If not could I pop in 2 and still not bottleneck? I want to go 4k but am curious if you really need a hex core for it or if my OC on my CPU is enough.

The resolution you use in no way affects the CPU's performance, only the GPU is affected.
That said, your CPU would be fine with these in SLI :)

I don't believe they will make a 150w card. I think it will still be a 200-250w card.

well maybe. we expect directx 12 to be less cpu hungry, but I agree, this i3 is pretty weak. If you want to upgrade, it may be worth to think about a i5 4790 even if you have to change your mobo.

they say its the same like on a z97 board … ofc the mobo has lower quality and an h81 is not what ya want for an i5/i7 but the pentium K-version goes good with it and over 4 ghz is no prob. as far as i know

It's true that you can reach a amazing oc with a pentium k on a H81 mobo, but it's not as good as expect. benchmarks (in-game) shows that it reaches the performance of a I3 4th gen.

I never had a gaming computer(as you can see) and I wanted to buy a new rig at the end of summer but seeing this card made me think that it would be better to wait and see what AMD will bring against the GTX 800.And so,the waiting begins.

if you go 2k go for the gtx 880, but keep in mind that the gpu isn't out yet and these specs aren't going to be for sure, but if they are then go for the gtx 880 after you sale your gtx 760.

the maxwell architecture has 35% faster and efficient cuda cores :)
And still it's odd, I think it should be 2280 cuda cores.
