GeForce GTX 780 MSI TwinFrozr Gaming OC Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 780 MSI TwinFrozr Gaming OC Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 780.
This edition comes with a custom dual fan cooling solution which by itself should allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 780 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 863MHz to 954MHz while its boost clock is now of 1006MHz. The memory clock was left untouched.
Benchmarks indicate an 8% performance boost when compared to the reference card.

Is this GPU compatible with all my other hardware and would it fit inside my case? Also, does it need any extra cooling or are the built-in fans enough? Last but not least, a very subjective and speculative question, but is getting this card in October a good idea and do you think its price would have dropped a bit since then? It costs about £350 in the UK right now. Sorry for the noob questions.

No it wont. It´s pretty hard to get a bottleneck, and this GPU Wont, but if you´re using it for gaming, then probably get a new CPU

Well, to be honest that'd all depend if you have the budget or not, there's a relatively big gap between the two cards in cost accordance but the 780 card is about 200 USD (approximately 20,464 yen) ( less expensive than the 290x.

Card coin-values are based on stores in sweden with 25% value-added tax.

Even after all this info, I still believe that if you have got a 770 you will be able to run pretty much every game on maxed out settings, esp with that CPU.

Also to summarize - Both cards are great for high end gaming and it's all up to you if you want to spend some extra cash on a percentage valued performance boost :)
