Radeon HD 7660G is an integrated GPU on the fast-middle-class Trinity CPUs.
It's based on the 32nm Terascale 3 architecture and offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The memory interface will depend on whether or not the laptop's system RAM is dual channelled (128-bit if so, 64-bit, if not) and the operating memory clock can be up to 800MHz (max speed supported by the CPU). The central unit runs at 496MHz and will go up to 685MHz in Turbo Mode. Expect a TDP of up to 35 Watt.
Its performance is considerably above Intel HD 4000 Graphics thanks to the high Shaders count which proves useful in most of today's modern Most of today's modern games can be playable using the Medium preset though the low preset will have to suffice for some of them. Extremely demanding games (e.g. Crysis 3) are playable at the lowest settings, using a 1024x768 resolution, smoothly.
I call this thing "The Valve APU" It runs all of valves games maxed out with no problem ( by no problem i mean 200+ fps except for CS:GO @ 60fps ) this thing ran things i didn't think that it could like Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Skyrim
haha i finnaly found out how to over cloak this graphics
i have a question, does any one know if this graphics soppurt 3D( like theater 3d) through hdmi to my 3D display? i mean i dont have any 3d compatable games yet, but just wonder, could someplz tellme, ive looked around but cant find answer
hey guys, i heard that this apu gpu will boost performance with dual channl ram, i want to buy a laptop with this apu or should i buy a laptop with core i3 + gt630m? thx
also this is great, i play wow ultra settings with settings maxed out allthe way while playing deadisland max settings sametime getting about 30 fps on each, i love this ghraphics chip
i have this GPU with the a10-4600m, my graphics can handle almost every game max settings, haha problem is when playin gmulti games max, my graphics give out befor the processer, haha just wish this was a tad bit stronger, oh well cant complain
The GT 630M in general is slower, and in general the HD 7670M in general is faster. Check notebookcheck. Plenty fast with the A10-4600M. I get 60+ FPS on Minecraft, sometimes upwards of 100.
Is it good for playing something like, say, NFS: MW2? Is the GT 630M or 7670M any better?
