GeForce GT 630M 2GB DDR3 Review
GeForce GT 630M 2GB DDR3 is a variant of the middle-class GeForce GT 630M.
Based on the Fermi GF108, it offers 96 Shader Processing Units, 16 TMUs and 4 ROPs on a 128-bit interface of DDR3.
The central unit runs at 660MHz and will go up to 800MHz in Turbo Mode while the memory clock operates at 900MHz. A 1GB version which will offer the same performance, since this GPU does not benefit from a 2GB frame buffer and most likely cost less, is also available.
Its overall performance is clearly superior to previous GeForce GT 620M/625M and also above previous GeForce GT 540M and slightly above GeForce GT 550M and so most modern demanding games can be played at medium settings smoothly using a 1366x768 (most common) resolution while modern games are playable using the high preset smoothly.

Guys my 630m seems to be a bit different from this one. Can you tell me if mine is better or worse than this? Here's a link to my GPU specs.

Trying to run it as admin, in a different compatibility mode or just simply lowering the graphics to make it less demanding also did not help. I've been trying to find some sort of solution online and it seems lot of people have encountered this exact problem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OeIyx5I

while after I started playing these games - they ran perfectly at first. It also appeared for each game at the same time. I tried some possible solutions: reinstalling, patching and given the fact that it has been happening for a while my graphics card's drivers have been updated several times.

Hi guys,
I have a problem concerning these games only: Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations. The problem is that every few seconds my framerate (normally being 35+) drops
to around 25, resulting in an annoying lag. Ac 3 doesn't suffer from this. Also, it started happening a whil

ok man, if you still have these kind of problems than i think there is a serious problem with your laptop. Go to the store you bought it and ask them to fix the prob. or to change the laptop.

I don't think so, it must be related to the motherboard of the laptop i think, or with the graphic card itself, send me the bios of your card using gpu-z, maybe that is the problem.

Ok my bios are those of Acer itself, not those of Insyde Corp. And the version is 1.07, something else is that my bios version was released only 5 days early than yours. About the chipset and Southbridge is identical. So i think the problem may stick with the bios, see if the version of my bios is compatible with your model but don't change it yourself. Go to the store you bought it and tell them to see if that is possible and if this is really the problem with your laptop.
