Radeon HD 7770 Sapphire GHz OC Edition Review
Radeon HD 7770 Sapphire GHz OC Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class Radeon HD 7770. See the standard version for more information about it.
The differences include increased memory and core clocks, from 1125MHz to 1250MHz and from 1000MHz to 1150MHz, respectively. A new quiet and efficient cooling system is also available.
Benchmarks indicate a 9,5% performance boost when compared to the standard Radeon HD 7770.
Benchmarks indicate that the most demanding games (e.g. Metro 2033) will run at the highest settings but not at extreme resolutions (due to the limited memory size).

Has anyone tried overclocking this card yet? It is already quite heavily overclocked, so, I am not sure whether it will be worth it.

you cannot OC the core clock more or it will become unstable and start hanging, but you can in crease the memory clock to 1300,maybe even more if it allows it

In terms of performance, probably the one with bigger heatsink is cooler and can be OC'ed slightly better, but overall they are the same.

in terms of performance it this is about 4-5% faster, i would get this one over the other cuz this got better cooling. my friend has a card of the design with the one you posted and the cooler looks very cheap but it does get the job done

its physically possible but not ideal. you can setup triple monitor on this and brag a bit and to some programming/surfing/watching videos and stuff but gaming would suck

Example with crysis 3 settings on medium high and no aa i get 40fps

I have recently bought this card. In Catalyst control centre, under "Graphics Overdrive", there is the option "Power control settings" which has a range of -50% to 50%. It is auto set to 0%. So, what happens at -50%, 0% or 50% ? I want continuous maximum performance and I might even overclock. So, will I set it to 50%, that is, the maximum for the power control settings ?

the power control setting is for your "maximum" allowed tdp(not so sure but thats what i know). I would recommend not touching anything cuz it is already heavily overclocked, and if you try overclocking it you'll most likely not to go far so save your effort and keep your waranty

I have gone through some articles which say that the "power control settings" is a safety feature for the card, preventing it from getting damaged by over-current. So, if you do not change that setting, you might not get max performance from your card at overclocked settings. Since this Sapphire HD 7770 is factory overclocked, so it needs more current. Therefore, I have kept it to 20% for my card but I have not overclocked it anymore. This will make sure that I get max performance plus safety :)

GTX 650 Ti Zotac is better, but not that much :)
GTX 650 Ti Zotac has better memory section (Memory, Memory Speed, Memory Bandwidth)
but in cost to gaming performance value sapphire 7770 oc wins hands down..!!
