Radeon HD 7470 512MB GDDR5 Review
Radeon HD 7470 1GB GDDR5 is an entry-level GPU based on the 40nm architecture Terrascale 2.
Technically, it's a renamed Radeon HD 6450 and has to compete against Intel's integrated graphics. It's based on the Caicos Core and therefore offers 160 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs on a 64-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. The memory clock will be clocked at up to 800MHz while the central unit can range from 625MHz to 750MHz.
As a rename of Radeon HD 6450, it offers very limited performance.

Radeon HD 7470 1GB GDDR5 was later (2013) renamed as Radeon HD 8470.

Amount of VRAM has a very low impact on performance over all, and counts even less if you play below HD res ;)

I know but then it should be at least 2% better

This GPU does not benefit from a 1GB frame buffer because it's very weak. The standard size is 512MB. Anything higher than that, is marketing to lure people into paying more for the same product.

ok thanks for reply. Now I understand little better.I have a question. My laptop has 7470m graphics card and intel 3000 hd graphics.Since I've installed latest amd beta drivers 12.11 which improve fps in games,in control panel and almost everywhere else it shows that my main graphics card is intel 3000.Now I dont know is my laptop using intel 3000 or 7470m in games.I assume that it uses 7470m because it is suppose to be better than intel 3000.

First off buddy, you need to select Radeon HD 7470M. You have selected a desktop CPU. Select the Mobility HD 7000 Series and find 7470M there :D
As for the Intel HD 3000 thing, you should be able to select in the Catalyst CC, the default GPU for gaming. If not, then via BIOS. If the BIOS doesn't offer that option either...then I don't know :(
