GeForce GTX 660 Ti WindForce 2X OC Edition Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
GeForce GTX 660 Ti Gigabyte WindForce 2X OC 2GB Edition is a special edition of NVIDIA's Performance GeForce GTX 660 Ti, created by Gigabyte.

Overclock: Central Unit
The Central Unit now runs at 1032MHz, instead of 915MHz and goes up to 1110MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Overclock: Memory Clock
The Operating Memory Clock and the Frame Buffer remain the same.

Cooling Solution
The reference NVIDIA Single-Fan Cooling System has been replaced by Gigabyte's WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology to reach a better cooling performance. The latest patent pending technology combines fin with clip module in a special triangle shape. With the original anti-turbulence structure plus the new triangle cooling design, it enhances the efficiency of heat dissipation dramatically by minimizing the flow of turbulence between fans.

Performance
Benchmarks indicate a 5% performance over the reference GeForce GTX 660 Ti.

Enjoying the card. Just wondering if an upgrade to a gtx 770 or gtx 960 would be worth it?

Definitely a 7970, but to be honest you might need a new system all together, your CPU will be a HUGE bottleneck.

closer to the 670 than the 660… and the 670 will give you roughly 10fps higher

i know its pretty late but for others who see this id really recommend this card (660TI OC Edition) over the 660TI OC PowerEdition.
Reason… you wont get much more performance benefit maybe 5fps more, maybe not even..

it can max out every current game with a decent FPS, but almost sure, that your processor will bottleneck it… give it a little OC, and you'll be fine :)

Don't make fun of me…
Maybe, I mean basically I spent 1000€ with new keyboard and Gamepad…
The thing is, I am not experienced with Monitor buying and I am afraid to screw up. I want something that LASTS, like this one, have it since 2002.

Definitely I understand but at the same time right now you are basically wasting a ton of potential of this card running it at 1024x768. I mean at that res you could probably game with your HD 4000. I would look at something from Dell. They make very nice monitors.

The Dell ST2220L is an excellent monitor. I own one, it has superb color accuracy and performance. Its not too expensive either. Seen here, added by me :D
