GeForce GT 630 Zotac 4GB Synergy Edition Review
GeForce GT 630 Zotac 4GB Synergy Edition is a special edition of the middle-class GeForce GT 630.
On this version, the memory clock was drastically reduced from 900MHz to 533MHz (operating), which decreases the memory bandwidth. The frame buffer was quadrupled from 1GB to 4GB which can be addressed as a huge gimmick. The bandwidth is lower than the standard edition which makes it even more a gimmick. Not only that, only extremely demanding games, paired with image improving techniques, played at extreme resolutions and maybe at multiple monitors will require that much video memory and GeForce GT 630 is not powerful enough to work under those conditions.
The performance is worse than the standard edition due to the much lower bandwidth.

This was the first gfx card i have ever bought, thinking memory was the most important aspect in one. ha boy was i wrong, i have since upgraded to a 560 ti direct cu top edition(1 gig), much better. Just had to upgrade my psu and move my hdd so this huge card could fit in my rig.

if u add pci 3.0 u would get a few more fps and the 4gb on this card actually slows it down dumb zotac :D

Hi,
This GPU is worse than the reference GT 630 because in order to increase the amount of RAM Chips, they had to reduce the memory clock and so the memory bandwidth was almost cut in half. GPUs like these don't need more than 1GB of video ram and giving them a lot of ram will only make them perform worse, if that comes at the cost of other important aspects, such as the bandwidth.
