GeForce GTX 660 Twin Frozr OC Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 660 Twin Frozr OC Edition is a special edition of GeForce GTX 660.
The new features include the Twin Frozr III Thermal Design solution which, according to MSI, generates 20% more airflow than traditional fan design.
In terms of overclocking, the base-clock was increased from 980MHz to 1033MHz and the boost clock can now reach 1098MHz, instead of 1033MHz. The memory clock was left untouched.
The overclocking is significant and the performance boost is around 5% when compared to the reference GeForce GTX 660.

Well, i dont think so… Bottlenecking does nog happen so often and you have a pretty powerfull cpu. and if you are going to use it at that resolution i dont think it will happen at all… Yes you will get better fps in games if you use a more powerfull CPU but you will nog bottleneck anything

Edit: i just saw that this was posted in late 2013…

Hi, I want this card but looking at my motherboard ASRock 880GXH/USB3, they just don't have it on the list. Any way it looks like their is a heat distributor above the pcie slot and it might not allow the card in… HELP PLEASE, has anybody else got the same motherboard, I'm very worried about buying it and it not fitting. Thx in advance.

Yes, go for one closer to the £150 mark, the overclocked versions don't offer much more performance anyway. With that 600w psu also, you'll have a good gaming system!
