660 and 660 ti (a 760 is a 660 ti) if you oc a 7870 to 1250/1500 you can achieve the level of a 760 and a 7950 which cost 260 euros and 280 respectively vs the 190 euros of a 7870.Hope I helped

Technically, (according to guru3d), the gtx 760 is actually a died down gtx 680 (cores disabled, other specs dialled down), but it does offer performance between a gtx 660 ti and a gtx 670.

it is a really good overclocker, it runs cool and quiet, a fairly good buy for $180 USD

Did you up the voltage or something to get 1450 on the memory? Wondering cause the simple DD edition is arriving in 3 days and i want to overclock it a little bit.

Any good tips on overclocking this beast? I never overclocked a graphics card before so I am wandering what would be a good program and a good percentage to look for.

msi afterburner is a good program, and to OC you need patience, just do small OC's, and progress until you see temp going over 80 degreees, or 90, and if you see artifacts (google it) turn it 200mhz or so

Ok, so I should get afterburner and just move it up 1 or 2% until it starts to get around 80 degrees. Would you by any chance know what temp it normally runs on and would I need to do anything in the bios or anything "really technical" to over clock. Is it as simple as just installing that program and turning up the dials?

Really need some help , ignore that it says I already have this GPU I'm just doing comparisons . Would my CPU be good enough for this ? I think I have one of the crappiest i5's so I'm curious what it can handle , also would wiping my hard drive make my CPU run faster again ? I'm an idiot with cpu's

I wouldn't have thought it would bottle neck this GPU but it may just a little as your CPU only has 2 cores. As for your hard drive I think it only makes a difference if it has loads of installed software on, if it is just storage for photos and films, etc. then you should be alright :)
