GeForce GT 750M is a Fast-Middle-Class Mobile Graphics Card based on the first revision of the Kepler Architecture.
The Kepler Architecture was NVIDIA's big step to power efficiency. Each Stream Multiprocessor (SMX) now hosts 192 Shader Processing Units - against the 48 of older Fermi Architecture, and has been redesigned being now clocked at the same speed of the Central Unit. This means they are more energy efficient and will consequently lead to cooler operating temperatures. However, it also means they are weaker. It can be said that one Fermi SMX is as fast as 2 Kepler SMXs.
Additionally, and not available in all GPUs, Kepler also introduced the Boost Clock Feature. The Boost Clock is an even higher Clock Speed activated when in gaming mode and becomes the effective speed of the GPU.
It equips a GPU Codenamed GK107-N14P-GT which has 2 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The Central Unit is initially clocked at 941MHz and goes up to 1058MHz, in Turbo Mode.
The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and no way benefits the GPU. The Memory Clock Operates at 900MHz.
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for SLI, Kepler Boost, Optimus, CUDA, OpenCL, DirectCompute, 3D Vision Surround, PhysX, Realtime Raytracing and other technologies
With a rated board TDP of 50W, it is suited for average sized laptops.
GeForce GT 750M is essentially a fast GeForce GT 650M.
Gaming benchmarks indicate a 10% Performance Boost over the older GeForce GT 650M.
We recommend a decent processor (Intel Core i5 Mobile) and 8GB of RAM for a system with GeForce GT 750M.
Hey I have this card and I can move GTA V with 30fps minimum at high settings in 1600x900 or 25fps of minimum in 1920x1080

So I'm looking at a laptop (Asus N56VV link: http://www.1a.ee/arvutitehnika/sulearvutid/asus_n56vv_full_hd_i7) with this GPU. It's a Full HD laptop. Just wondering how much does the gpu's GDDR3 affect in terms of gaming performance - how many fps do I lose compared to GDDR5 version? Other than that it looks like a very good laptop. I especially like the 7200 rpm HDD. So yeah.. worth to buy or not?
Check out notebook check . net… this card isn't as good as the 660m by about an average of 6-8 fps on every game and yet it is listed as 3 percent better. Just though i would give my two cents!
What the heck hahaha so i have over clocked my 650m to match excatly 750m according to this site it shows 0% difference. It has ran almost a year at core 968 mhz (max msi after burner lets) and memory 2200 mhz.
I get really low fps on this card help?
is this better than the gtx 660m?
