GeForce GT 750M Review
GeForce GT 750M is a fast-middle-class GFX, based on the 2012, 28nm, Kepler architecture.
It's Based on the Kepler GK107 Core and therefore offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs, on a 128-bit memory interface of either fast GDDR5 or standard DDR3. The central unit's and operating memory clock's speed depend on the memory variant.
This is the DDR3 version and so the central unit runs at up to 967MHz and the memory clock operates at up to 1000MHz.
However, ultimately, laptop manufacturer's may change these values to their liking.
The DDR3 variant will perform considerably better than the GDDR5 version, on lower resolutions and is better suited for smaller notebooks.

4GB is a complete waste for this card, there is no way it can use that much, and SLI'ed memory is separate not shared so it would be 2GB x 2GB not 4GB.

So I'm looking at a laptop (Asus N56VV link: http://www.1a.ee/arvutitehnika/sulearvutid/asus_n56vv_full_hd_i7) with this GPU. It's a Full HD laptop. Just wondering how much does the gpu's GDDR3 affect in terms of gaming performance - how many fps do I lose compared to GDDR5 version? Other than that it looks like a very good laptop. I especially like the 7200 rpm HDD. So yeah.. worth to buy or not?

Check out notebook check . net… this card isn't as good as the 660m by about an average of 6-8 fps on every game and yet it is listed as 3 percent better. Just though i would give my two cents!

What the heck hahaha so i have over clocked my 650m to match excatly 750m according to this site it shows 0% difference. It has ran almost a year at core 968 mhz (max msi after burner lets) and memory 2200 mhz.

Make sure that you are not using low performance gpu. Right click that shortcut or exe where ever you start your game and select high performance gpu. I dont know why but some times it wants to run demanding games with that integrated lag bag so you have to manually select it sometimes. And some times if it doesnt help and it keeps running it with low perf gpu no matter what just re-instal drivers it helped for me.

No it isn't. Check them out on notebookcheck. The 660m Consistently get 7-10 fps better on just about every game tested.

This is the ddr3 version so it is worst than the 660m by 5-10 percent. If you can get the 2GB GDDR5 version, then that is better than than the 660m by 10-15 percent.

GeForce GT 750M or GeForce GTX 680MX better
Also is the 610m 2gb the same size as the GeForce GTX 680MX or GeForce GT 750M? Because my graphics card isn't the best but i can run games like Tomb Raider on high with shadows off but i want more power and all the other things my pc has is great.&#60br
