GeForce 710M Review
GeForce 710M is an entry-level GFX still based on the ageing Fermi architecture.
It's based on the 28nm optimized Fermi GF117 Core and therefore offers 96 Shader Processing Units, 16 TMUs and 8 ROPs. All this, in a 64-bit memory interface of DDR3. Both the central unit and operating memory clock will be clocked up to a maximum that will be decided by laptop manufacturer whereas they can be clocked up to 775MHz and 900MHz, respectively. However, the most common versions might be underclocked to reduce the power consumption. Higher clocked versions will consume much more power.
Therefore, GeForce 710M's performance will depend on its central unit's speed and can be similar to GeForce GT 620M and never above GeForce GT 630M due to the 64-bit bus width. All in all, modern demanding games will require reduced settings (medium) and a 720p resolution.
Please Note this GPU is ranked based on the fastest known version. Lower Clocked versions will perform considerably worse.
