would an athlon ii x4 760k bottleneck this? why is it that on this page it says that a 9 star CPU is recommended, but when you compare it to another card, it lists several 7 star CPUs as "recommended"?

this card can run all new games at that res, but im not sure how well that cpu is going to support this card… you should upgrade the cpu before you get a new card (assuming you haven't bought this already)

I already bought the card and I must say It's excellent!! I can see a slight to major CPU bottleneck in some games like Far Cry 3 and AC4 but overall its not THAT big of a deal. Thinking of getting an i7 920/930 and overclocking it.

they are similar, so you can use it for now. just keep in mind that the FF is a little better than the V2 when you check games

I have this one, and its really worth it. The GTX 650 Ti Boost gives more or less the same performance, and since its cheaper, u could go for it. :) And the 650 Ti Boost Edition can be SLI'd unlike the 650 Ti.

you mean bottlenecked by your CPU? yes your CPU will bottleneck it, but only a little.. It won't be much noticeable, only in cpu demanding games.

adding more RAM to 8GB for current games is a good decision.
