GeForce GTX 770 MSI TwinFrozr Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 770 MSI TwinFrozr Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 770.
This edition comes with a custom dual fan cooling solution which by itself should allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 770 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 1046MHz to 1137MHz while its boost clock is now of 1189MHz. The memory clock was left untouched.
Benchmarks indicate a 6% performance boost when compared to the reference card and so this edition performs slightly better than GeForce GTX 590.

Would I have any issues regarding my PSU if I were to buy this card for my system? Or any bottleneck on my CPU?

Any reason why this is 1% more powerful than the 4Gb edition? They are the same in literally every aspect except from the frame buffer, is less VRAM better or something?

Hi guys, I think there are some slight mistakes on this GFX details page. According to the official MSI page for this product, the core clock speed should be 1098 MHz and the boost clock is 1150 MHz. It also says that the max display output is 2560x1600. I've included the link below:

Is getting this card worth it at this point? Or would I be better off waiting for the 800 series (GTX 870)?

I wouldn't upgrade from a GTX 760 if I were you, I'd wait a few months and get a GTX 870 instead or SLI 760s.

LOL, OK, let me redo the question, what USEFUL upgrade can I make next. Thinking of upgrading the CPU, but it's a little too expensive to go 4th gen right now.

3770K is your best option (Though not necessary), another 4GB RAM wouldn't hurt either.

I thought any amount of RAM over 8GB is wasted on a pure gaming system. And when I say pure I mean if it isn't required by the OS, or a game, it isn't installed.

Depends on the game, 80GB is recommended for ultra now, even 12 for Star Citizen, best to have a bit extra.
