GeForce GTX 770 SLI Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 770 SLI is a combination of 2 GeForce GTX 770 put together using NVIDIA's SLI technology.
Together, this combination offers 3072 Shader Processing Units, 256 TMUs and 64 ROPs. This, on a 256-bit memory interface, per card, of fast GDDR5. While the central unit runs at 1046MHz and goes up to 1085MHz, in Turbo Mode, the memory clock operates at 1752MHz.
Best case scenario, this combination performs better than dual-graphics GeForce GTX 690 but ultimately, its performance depends on the driver support and on the 3D application.
Therefore, and paired with a powerful processor, all demanding games are playable at the highest settings. Still, this combination might surpass the 450W barrier of TDP and so it will require a very powerful PSU.

not on 1080p :) if u plan on 1440p then go for i7, otherwise u will get bottlenecked!! And any good 750-850w psu will be enough. eg. corsair rm750, rm 850(using)

if u r going to change ur mobo then why lga 1155 go with lga 1150. anyway as u asked, here is some:- asus maximus v gene, asrock z77 extreme6/tb4, gigabyte g1 sniper m3. 770sli is a massive overkill for 1080p. 660sli will last for 3-4 years

i5-4570/i5-4670/i7-4770(no k)+asrock z87 fatality killer mobo(realy gooood, currently using it) or asus z87-a. 660sli will last for atleast 3 years don't underestimate it 660sli - gtx 780. if u want gtx 760 then go for it.

i've money for 780ti sli. but i'll stick with my 650ti boost sli until gtx 800 series releases. the same thing i'm telling u to do. by doing this u will be more futureproof and have more powerful rig ;)

that's why 4570, that 4670 runs 4-6c hot than 4570 and its a bit(-8%) faster. if possible then i7-4770 :)

4570>(-6%)3470 and 4670>(-8%)4570. u said that u want to change mobo that's why i told u to buy 4th gen. though the difference wouldn't be much noticable but will be more futureproof and latest that 4670 is -15% powerful than 3470….

I don't know about your question but personally I believe you should go with 680 SLI instead, only my own personal opinion though. Considering you've got one already.

not a bit
saw a 680gtx pcie comparision the card can to 100% on a pcie3x8 and 99% on a pcie2x8 if you go down to pcie3x4(like most cheap mobos do) you get 95% so x8 is recomended then you have 2 times x8 i dont think you cpu can handle 32 lanes also there is no differenz no 2x8lanes

With your CPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD (If any) and HDD your setup would take approximately 640 watts, I'd pick a 750 watts Corsair CS or anything alike since that's more than sufficient, 850 is a bit overkill.

Well, don't worry about it then. It isn't recommended that people OC their hardware if they don't really know what they're doing. A lot of CPU's and GPU's have been fried that way :P

I don't believe an i5 CPU would bottleneck SLI 770's to be frank, even though the best matchup's an i7. Though if it'd happen to be less than required you could make an attempt on OCing 10% or so (Just remember to switch from stock cooler)
