Radeon R9 280X Sapphire Dual-X 3GB OC Edition Game Requirement Analysis

Radeon R9 280X Sapphire Dual-X 3GB OC Edition is a special edition of the high-end Radeon R9 280X.
This edition comes with a custom cooling system called "Dual-X", which reduces the card's temperature under load, significantly and comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was increased from 850MHz to 870MHz, while the Boost clock is now of 1020MHz.
Benchmarks indicate a very slightly 1% performance boost over the standard edition and so a GeForce GTX 770 is still more powerful.

Wow your price is like 20% higher than that of where I live. I bought a 270 prior to this 280X for around 59 euros, feels like 270 is a better option than 270X by the fact that it is only more or less 10% worst than 270X

I bought mine for $500 I think last year. Not sure how much they go for really, but I think I got ripped off anyways.. :/ Haven't found a game I can't run with this yet, though! So no complaints.

Yesterday I saw what this actually went for. I forget where exactly, but it was about $350 more expensive than what I paid for it.

Would this run on my A10 7850k with 900p ultra/high on most games like Fallout 4, Black Ops 3 etc? And would 500W be sufficient? Thanks

it will run with your Cpu and Psu too.
900p is too easy for that Gpu.
But it will bottleneck with Fallout 4 & Black Ops 3 because of the Cpu.
That Cpu can't handle this type of Games.
Maybe a little bit of OC will help.

Also if I decide to go with the R9 280 (non-x) Dual-X what difference in terms of performance will it makes? If there's less I might as well go w/ the cheaper 1

R9 280 is a high end card so it will make a big diference.
With that card need a better cpu.

It will run well, don't worry about it,you have a good CPU and enough RAM memory so don't even worry about bottlenecks, this GPU will fit you well.
