Radeon R9 295X2 Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
Radeon R9 295X2 is a Dual-Graphics Solution based on the First Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.

Architecture
The GCN 1.1 revision of the Graphics Core Next Architecture adds new important technologies and is largely oriented for energy efficiency. New technologies such as PowerTune and TrueAudio are the biggest additions as well as DirectX 11.2 support.

GPU
It equips two GPUs Codenamed Hawaii XT which together have 128 Compute Units activated and thus offer 5632 Shader Processing Units, 352 TMUs and 128 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 1018MHz.

Memory
Each GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5 Memory, through a 512-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 1250MHz.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 500W, it requires at least a 850W PSU with two available 8-pin connectors.

Performance
Radeon R9 295X2 Competes with GeForce GTX Titan Z and proves to be much faster than the latter, especially at 4K.
Radeon R9 295X2 is the fastest Dual Graphics Solution as of June of 2015.

System Suggestions
Radeon R9 295X2 is best suited for resolutions up to and including 3840x2160. We recommend a Very Strong Processor (Intel Core i7 Quad Core/AMD FX Eight Core) and 16GB of RAM for Optimal Performance.

Well 380X is not really 1440p card, you need at least 290/gtx970/gtx780 for that
Same goes to 295X on 3840x2160, it can run it but definitely not in full details

Hmmmm… the R9 295X2 is "only" 158% better then my R9 270, I'm happy it's not like 1000% better. It's amazing to see how high the memory bandwith is.

Would it be possible to power this on my 650w Akasa Cobra PSU? It provides 49amps on the 12volt rail and 585w max on the rail.

Nope, it really need some good 70A+ 850W psu which can deliver 45W on single rail -thats because I heard that some multirail 1000W+ psus had problem to run it

800x600 - Avg - 28 , Min - 18

But as we know people eye see only 3 frames , so GTX 750 will be enough to MAX OUT tetris at 720p

720p - Avg - 8 , Min - 4
