If it's at zero it means that you aren't overclocked at all. When you overclock it it will add speed based on how much you are adding to the base clock.

If it won't let you move the slider to the right that means you either have your settings configured wrong or your gpu doesn't allow overclocking. (The second one is more likely)

I fixed it I just had to do a clean install of the drivers but every time I would try a game even one that isn't to hard to run (For me that being Fallout New Vegas) it would crash on launch

You made too much OC and your GPU TDP can't handle it, try reducing OC by little until you get stable gaming

I'm getting this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MA7AMKY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER some where around the year. Some reports say that the graphic card is a GTX 860M or a 750TI. Anything about the GPU? It isn't really specific. Also, will I be able to play most AAA games at 1080p?

Nope, the 860m struggles running 1080p on newer AAA games I'm afraid.

Yeah, I drop mine down to 1600x900 and it makes a world of difference for performance, but it still looks great.

games? no way.
it will have a really hard time, so you'll have to use 1080p or less.
4k for movies or something, yes :)

I don't think that model has a 4K display. I know some like the Asus G750's can output to 4K although they don't have a 4K display. Probably can't pull 4K games

I think you should go i7, because the mobile i5 will probably bottleneck the 860M, due to the fact that mobile i5's are actually hyperthreaded dual-cores, which is more like a desktop i3 than a true i5. Like it says, QUAD-core is best here.

Geforce 765M isn't that much worse than Geforce 860M. i have the 860M, and i feel like many games are not well optimised for it.. (Sims 3, Watch Dogs etc..)
