Intel HD Graphics 2500 DEsktop are the successors of Intel HD Graphics 2000.
They come embedded on the new Intel Core i-5 Ivy Bridge CPUS.
The new features include DirectX 11 support, Shader Version of 5.0 and openGL Version of up to 4.0.
They offer 6 Execution Units (24 Shader Processing Units) and are manufactured with a 22nm technology.
Benchmarks indicate that today's games can be played at the lowest settings smoothly.

My CPU has this integrated GPU…. And I can raise its core speed in BIOS up to 1600mhz and you can really feel the difference :D

It should ( up to DDR3-1600 acc. to wikipedia) but also depends on the processor it is integrated into and the motherboard that's supports it.
