GeForce GTX 960M 2GB Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
GeForce GTX 960M 2GB is a Performance Mobile Graphics Card based on the first variant of the Maxwell architecture.

Architecture
The first variant of the Maxwell Architecture succeeds the Kepler Architecture. Despite being also manufactured with a 28nm technology, it has an extremely large L2 Cache which allows NVIDIA to produce Graphics Cards with relatively small memory data transfer rates, without causing too much impact on the overall performance. Furthermore, the Shaders have been redesigned and are both more powerful and energy efficient.

GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed GM107-N16P-GX-A1 which has 5 SM activated and thus offers 640 Shader Processing Units, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1029MHz and goes up to 1097MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface. The memory clock operates at 1253MHz. The size of the frame buffer is adequate.

Features
DirectX 12 Support (11.2 Hardware Default) and support for GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, PhysX and other technologies.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 50W, it may be equipped in average sized notebooks.

Performance
GeForce GTX 960M 2GB is essentially a higher-clocked GeForce GTX 860M 2GB. Because of that, it is only slightly faster than its predecessor.
Its performance is almost identical to the desktop GeForce GTX 750 Ti and so all modern demanding games are expected to run fluently at 1920x1080, but not at the highest settings.

System Suggestions
We recommend a strong processor (Intel Core i7 Mobile Quad Core) and 8GB of RAM for a notebook with GeForce GTX 960M 2GB.

So there's another 2gb version of this gpu that gets 64gb/s as it's memory bandwith, I have a screenshot from an MSI GE72 to prove it. Found out in the system information from nvidia control panel

I bet this isn't rated very well. My card can't possibly be 8% better.

i'm not sure but i think it's becoz the GTX 800 series are only focused on laptops' graphic cards not PCs but GTX 900 series focused mainly on PC performance.
