Radeon R7 360 Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
Radeon R7 360 is a Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the Second Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.

Architecture
Radeon R7 360 Equips a GPU Codenamed Tobago PRO which is a Second Gen GCN GPU and can be considered a rename of the Bonaire PRO previously used on Radeon R7 260.
Tobago PRO has 12 Compute Units activated and thus offers 768 Shader Processing Units, 48 TMUs and 16 ROPs.

GPU
The Central Unit is clocked at 1050MHz.

Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with fast GDDR5 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 128-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1500Hz.

Memory: Frame Buffer
The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 2GB. This would be useful were the Graphics Card suited for 1080p Gaming, which is not the case.
Power Consumption

With a rated board TDP of 75W, it requires at least a 500W PSU with one available 6-pin connector.

Performance
Radeon R7 360 2GB is essentially a faster Radeon R7 260 2GB.
Its release Price of $109 is what makes it a very competitive Graphics Card because its performance is only slightly better than GeForce GTX 750 and the GPU is not 1080p gaming capable, considering today's gaming market.

System Suggestions
Radeon R7 360 2GB is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1600x900. We recommend a Decent Processor and 8GB of RAM for Optimal Performance.

becoz of weak cpu…the card not getting enough power from the cpu to decode .so the full potentiality yet to be unveiled, change that cpu to intel i3 or amd fx 6300 atleast.

temp is ok untill 80c bt core 2 temp sensors are not accurate like modern day cpu"s , so it must be much higher temp than what showing on it, that may cause certain frame drop in longer period use , consider geeting a cooler for that cpu, and his gpu temp are absolutely fine/low(gpu can handle 90c easy they made up for that to handle)

The R7 360 is not GCN 1.2, it's 1.1, it should be corrected, source is from wiki.

AMD did a naming step down.
The r7 360 is the successor of the r7 250(x).
The r7 370 is the successor of the r7 260(x).

Dude the R7 360 (and possibly R7 360x) is a rebrand of the R7 260/x so yea its here to replace the R7 260/x.

You do NOT get what I'm saying.
The r7 360 is a rebranded r7 260(X), but it is meant to replace the r7 250x in it's price range, thus it's the new r7 250x.

Also the r7 360 is GCN 1.2, in other words it has a better tessellation engine and color compression, not that tessellation is recommended with this GPU, it is simply NOT powerful enough.

Ontop of that, these other companies like to add a slight Overclock aside from the reference design, a little tool of the trade for them.
It shows off just how much cooler their card can be at a higher clock rate, and some consumers might find the designs more aesthetically pleasing. :)

Oh, thats good to know. Btw, I was interested on 750 ti or r7 260x (dunno if my CPU can handle a 265 without bottleneck) for a GPU upgrade, but it came out. But I have doubts if my PSU can handle it. Its a 600w one, it have been good enough

to pull my 9800 gt forward, but since I believe its a generic one (not a company-known as corsair, for example), I have no idea if it would be safe to go for radeon GPUs, since it seems that they are power hungry and rely on good PSUs

Thats is the problem. It says something like XTech I believe, something with an X and its a 600w one, but I doubt its a "good" one. Anyways, it have been working very good imo

this is much slower than HD 7850 .. r7 370 is rebrand of r7 265 and that is rebrand of HD 7850 .. so HD 7850 wil be still faster .. but probably this is like gtx 750 or even close to 750 ti .. :)

Is it me or do the specs look like they ripped the GPU out of an xbox one and are selling it now only with a little more juice running through it. they both have exactly 768 shader cores.
