The Evergreen series is a family of GPUs developed by AMD graphics products division. The existence was spotted on a presentation slide from AMD Technology Analyst Day July 2007 as 'R8xx'. ATI held a press event in the USS Hornet museum on September 10, 2009 and announced ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology and specifications of the Radeon HD 5800 series' variants. The first variants of the Radeon HD 5800 series were launched September 23, 2009, with the HD 5700 series launching October 12 and HD 5970 launching on November 18 The HD 5670, was launched on January 14, 2010, and the HD 5500 and 5400 series were launched in February of 2010, completing what has appeared to be most of ATI's Evergreen GPU lineup.
Demand so greatly outweighed supply that more than two months after launch, many online retailers were still having trouble keeping the 5800 and 5900 series in stock.
first there is always a bottleneck in a system and your CPU can handle a quite better GPU, I would say an r7 370 is ideal for your CPU.
Should i but this card?? is my cpu good enough??although i will upgrade my cpu but a few days after upgrading the gpu
I would personally buy a whole new system that gpu is a bit weak for todays demanding games. If you must upgrade your current rig add a q6600 with that card or try to aim for at least a 7770 gpu if possible.
Thanks for the reply brother……….I am close to buying hd 7750…..is this graphic card good enough? and i am upgrading to q9650 processor
Your welcome the 7750 would be a signifacant bottleneck for that cpu. You can get a 7770 for the same money used on ebay which offers much better performance over the 7750 and would be a good match for that cpu.
will this work with my motherboard?
You didn't specify your motherboard in your rig, please give me your mobo name.
Is it compatible with my motherboard?
Should be fine
will my cpu bottleneck this gpu?
Not one bit.
Will this card work with my CPU good or will be bottleneck ? Now i have radeon hd 6670 gddr5 sapphire.
Hey guys will i notice any fps boost if i upgrade from my current to this gpu or is not worth it… i can get this bad boy for 35$ :) Cheers
My HD 5670 die, so i plan to upgrade to 5770, problem is, i don't know will my configuration work with it or i need to aim for lower or higher then it ?
Your rig has no problem running a 5770 just make sure you have 6-pin connector :D
Just make sure your PSU has 350+ watts
Will my CPU bottleneck this gpu?
A bit late, but I have a Athlon 64 x2 4200+ with this card, and there is defiantly a bottleneck. To help, I play with my Res. on 1920x1080 on game such as Battlefield 3, and it increases my FPS :D
You're too very late lol. i have already bought an gt 430 which is not on my list
but thanks anyway :)
Ahah, no problem :D
Can my psu hold this gpu :D plss answer i need to buy this gpu ? :D
