The GTX 1070 Gaming G1 is a Special Edition GTX 1070 high end graphics card by Gigabyte based on the Nvidia Pascal Architecture.


Architecture
It equips a GPU Codenamed P104-200-A1, which is a first gen Pascal GPU and has 15 SM activated, offering 1920 shader processing units, 120 TMUs and 64 ROPs.


GPU
The Gigabyte Gaming G1 central unit runs at 1620MHz and goes up to 1822MHz, under the Boost Mode, higher than the reference card.


Memory
The GPU accesses a 8GB frame buffer of Fast GDDR5, through a 256-bit memory interface, while the Memory Clock Operates at 2002MHz.


Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 150W, it requires at least a 500W PSU with one available 8-pin connector.

GPU coil whining. Going to stay for life. No ''real'' way to get the whining away, only reduce. Mine GPU got it after i switched my motherboard and cleaned it.

hmm it depends how you determine bottleneck i5 4460 cant really keep up with this gpu when it comes to MAX FPS this gpu can push far more then 100FPS at ultra in new AAA titles not all but there are alot games where it does… so if you looking at only @60fps its going to be all fine but if you looking at 100-144fps then you should have better cpu

1080p is complete overkill for this card. Think that it is faster than the titan X. You can get this one without worry. Will last a long time.

Bought this card today. Need to change my monitor that support DVI (Lucky I have 1). If you using VGA+DVI-D Connector, it doesn't work.
