Radeon RX 470 4GB Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
The AMD RX 470 4GB graphics card is a 2016 released performance graphics card based on the third revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture. This card competes against Nvidia's outgoing, but very popular, GTX 970 and the incoming GTX 1050 Ti, when that releases.

Architecture
It is powered by the Ellesmere PRO GPU, which has 2048 shader processing units, 128 TMUs and 32 ROPs.

GPU
The central unit runs at 926MHz and goes up to 1206MHz, when boost mode is triggered.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of GDDR5, through a 256-bit memory interface, while the memory clock Operates at 1650MHz.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 120W, it requires at least a 400W PSU with one available 6-pin connector.

Performance
The AMD RX 470 has been built as a Mid/High performance graphics card for 2016. It will run most triple AAA titles released during 2016 on medium to high graphics at 1080p screen resolution. With adjustments and lowering anti aliasing this card can confidently maintain 60+ frames per seconds on high graphic settings at 1080p. Moving to 1440p screen resolution and the graphics card may need to be adjusted down to medium in order to maintain 50-60+ fps.
System Suggestions
The RX 470 is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1920x1080. We recommend a mid range processor and at least 8GB of system memory for optimal performance.

I think yes. That's a pretty old CPU. If you change your CPU for a I3 7300, you'll be good

It will work fine. I don't know if your monitor is VGA, if it is, you'll maybe get a little trouble to make it work since there are no longer DVI-I ports on this card, so you can't use an adapter. But ya, it works on this resolution.

It has DVI-D, which is digital, there are two kinds of DVI, that's what I tried to explain. It needs an active adapter to port it from VGA.

It can handle it. In some heavy cpu games you may feel a little. But surely, no more than 2-3 fps loss compared to the i5 4440.

i5 is better because it have 4 cores and most of modern games benefit from 4 physical cores.

Sapphire cheaped out on the heatsink for this particular model. Solid aluminum, unlike the RX 480 Ref. which has a copper core. Needs undervolting to keep from melting and an increased power target to maintain advertised clocks.

Scores a 6.2 on SteamVR at stock clocks while paired with an i5-4590 and 16GB RAM.
