Radeon HD 5670 512MB Review
The Evergreen series is a family of GPUs developed by AMD graphics products division. The existence was spotted on a presentation slide from AMD Technology Analyst Day July 2007 as 'R8xx'. ATI held a press event in the USS Hornet museum on September 10, 2009 and announced ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology and specifications of the Radeon HD 5800 series' variants. The first variants of the Radeon HD 5800 series were launched September 23, 2009, with the HD 5700 series launching October 12 and HD 5970 launching on November 18 The HD 5670, was launched on January 14, 2010, and the HD 5500 and 5400 series were launched in February of 2010, completing what has appeared to be most of ATI's Evergreen GPU lineup.
Demand so greatly outweighed supply that more than two months after launch, many online retailers were still having trouble keeping the 5800 and 5900 series in stock.

Have you checked your temperatures? and does your rig continues to work when your screen goes black or it stops?

Hmm so I assume you also checked that it has no dust on it,First when you get a black screen press windows key + U and check if you hear something from your speakers to understand if your rig is working fine. What about your PSU is it powerful enough for all your specs? also did you try some stress tests to check if it works fine? have you tried with different drivers? use driver sweeper or other software to clean old drivers and install the latest driver, also be sure your onboard GPU is disabled from BIOS. These are the possibilities coming to my mind atm.

You are welcome, and do not forget to inform us how it goes so we can think of other possibilities if none of these works :)

A theoretical 64GB/sec max. memory bandwidth, well in a non-working state I actually have to say 19.2GB/sec :P = memory clock @ 300MHz (and core clock @ 157 MHz).

@Ronak_11: you meant the HD5670 instead of 6660 I guess? ;)

The HD 5670 is much better than the HD 5570, mostly because of its GDDR5 memory --> much better memory bandwidth = better AA performance, better performance with higher resolutions, better dynamic range :D

Good for gaming, better for video content (like 1080p)! The card definitely is worth the money :D
