GeForce GTX 470 Review

GeForce GTX 470 is a high-end GPU based on the 40nm Fermi architecture.
It's based on the Fermi GF100 Core and offers 480 Shader Processing Units, 56 TMUs and 40 ROPs. The central unit runs at 607MHz and the memory clock operates at 837MHz.
Compared to GeForce GTX 480, it delivers considerably worse performance due to the lower SPU count and lower clocked central unit and therefore also lower Shaders speed.
Most modern demanding games will run at the highest settings using a 1080p resolution. However, some will require reduced settings to be played optimally.

Nope this really can't max BF3.Certainly not on 1920x1080 with over 40 FPS.For that you'd need GTX660Ti/670.

Youre not very smart,are you ?intensive multiplayer maps require twice more powerful gpu to run it with same FPS as singleplayer campaign.

The game runs much more nicely through the many patches and driver updates :D as it is now I would not be surprised if the 470 can run ultra no MSAA
