Radeon HD 5570 1024MB Game Requirement Analysis

The Evergreen series is a family of GPUs developed by AMD graphics products division. The existence was spotted on a presentation slide from AMD Technology Analyst Day July 2007 as 'R8xx'. ATI held a press event in the USS Hornet museum on September 10, 2009 and announced ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology and specifications of the Radeon HD 5800 series' variants. The first variants of the Radeon HD 5800 series were launched September 23, 2009, with the HD 5700 series launching October 12 and HD 5970 launching on November 18 The HD 5670, was launched on January 14, 2010, and the HD 5500 and 5400 series were launched in February of 2010, completing what has appeared to be most of ATI's Evergreen GPU lineup.
Demand so greatly outweighed supply that more than two months after launch, many online retailers were still having trouble keeping the 5800 and 5900 series in stock.

Yeah you can use it with that PSU, I did with a 275w Dell 745 SFF and 745 Tower 305w.

It may give smooth FPS in some games at some resolutions, but that is not a reason to get a high rank. When ranking other GPUs are considered too as they must be sorted by speed.

It's an OK graphic card. A LOT BETTER than the crappy Intel on-board graphics and the HD 5450. I'm happy to use this card. :D
It's a trimmed down version of HD 5670. ;)

Let's say that I can call it acceptable when you run DX9 and play @ a 1280 x 768 resolution or such….When you have got a nice RAM setup and nice CPU, with the HD 5570 you can still play the latest games on minimum or low graphics settings and maybe a little higher in a few cases ;) Looking at VRAM, 1024MB is enough and recommended in most cases! I'm still doing fine with my 512MB's of video memory these days, don't get distracted by 2 or 3GB graphics cards ;) Just like PCI-e v3.0 ('overkill'), we mostly have to use the word 'marketing' here….
