I have tried it on my laptop, but not a chance. Not even 800x600… Best game I've run with this GPU was F.E.A.R. 2 :-)

My last system did have this gpu but it was identified as ati mobility radeon hd 4200 series. It was better than Gma 4500m of my first system but because it was working in conjunction with a single core processor and only 256MB of graphics memory, it's gaming performance was still restricted.

For what this card is, which is a generic card in MOST entry level notebooks running ATI/AMD chip-sets. It is fantastic for playing games, the performance is consistent, heating is not much of a problem if machines designed by intelligent people. Having 6GB+ RAM compliments this well for games.

Yes, but the desktop HD 4250 is still worse than the 8500GT, isn't it? Don't want to look at percentages too much….. :P

It's pretty great, as long as you don't enable antialiasing or V-sync

Yeah, generally I wouldn't set AA too high with this card. Its pixel rate is kinda worthless and that also means that resolution increases will cost you extra performance discreases ;)
