GeForce GTX 560 Review
GeForce GTX 560 a high-end-class level GFX part of the 500 Series released by NVIDIA in 2011/2012.
It's the weakest of the high-end GPUS but it still delivers great performance and at a very attractive price. All demanding games, including very demanding one's like Metro 2033/The Witcher II will run on the highest settings, but some might require reduced resolutions.

Oh god no man. Your cpu will be a bit bottleneck for this GPU. Meaning that your cpu will not be able to exploit your GPU's true potential and yeah your resolution is also a bottleneck as this is recommended for mine resolution. Am I clear?

Hey, this card is able to run GTA V? I know, this haven't system requirements yet, but I'm needing one ideia to know if I realy need to change my card. And cause I have to make the pre-order of the game!

According to the released requirements it should be able to run the game just fine. But we don't know if GTA V will be well optimized yet.

OK, so after the previous conversation on this page, I decided to run some tests... So far I've only tried Crysis 3 and Borderlands 2 but I'll get around to doing some other games as well. Anyway, my maximum GPU usage in both games was 99%. CPU, however, was at 70-80% in BL2 and at 80-90% in C3. Doesn't this indicate a bottleneck from the GPU? If so, it might be a good idea to change the suggested CPU to something more... mainstream. Not saying it must be done, just throwing the idea out :D
Mazasrb
14:29 Mar-25-2013

Yeah that could be a bottleneck. Try to put your CPU on chill 2.8GHz and run benchmarks again.
auntarie
17:22 Mar-25-2013

I can't do that, I don't believe in myself enough to OC my CPU :D
Pip
15:43 Mar-25-2013

That's because Crysis 3 is very GPU demanding, rather than very CPU demanding. On other games, it might be the opposite. I remember 100% CPU usage on Resident Evil 5, with Core 2 Quad 6600, for example.
auntarie
17:26 Mar-25-2013

As I said, I will try some other games. I'm gonna think of 3-4 others and see what I have around in my house. But anyway, even if Crysis 3 is a demanding game, these results are pretty surprising. According to the official requirements my CPU is just a bit weaker than the recommended for high and it's still not stressed 100% :/
Pip
21:31 Mar-25-2013

You are talking about the Adjusted Requirements, right? Maybe we can lower the CPU :)
auntarie
04:18 Mar-26-2013

No, the ones for high, with a Core i3-2120T.
Pip
13:38 Mar-27-2013

There are no Req. for high. Only recommended, adjusted and min.

14:18 Mar-27-2013

Recommended.

Mazasrb
16:38 Mar-25-2013

You can use MSI afterburner or better use GPUz and make a log file while playing, it will display and log lot of GPU parameters along with GPU usage measured every second.

Aww, does this mean that my CPU is bottlenecking the hell out of my GPU? I asked a lot of people about it and they said it was OK :( Or is the line between bottleneck and non-bottleneck just very thick?

Somewhat, yes.
auntarie
13:20 Mar-22-2013
