Radeon HD 6520G Review
An integrated CPU/GFX. The AMD Radeon HD 6520G is for mid-range laptops. It is integrated in the mid-range APUs (A6 Series, e.g. A6-3410MX) and offers 320 of the 400 shader cores clocked at 400MHz. It offers no dedicated graphics memory (shared memory graphics card) and is therefore slower than similar Radeon HD 6000M cards.

Maybe he had single channel memory and now with 2 sticks as dual channel, doubling 6520G's bandwidth.

I overclocked my APU. It's currently running 2.4 GHz around the clock, with a turbo boost of 2.6. (If I could find a stable undervolt, I could take it even higher. But I digress...
I've played quite a few games on it, and had no problems. Left 4 Dead(2 as well), Portal, Batman Arkham Asylum, Sonic Generations, Audiosurf, all have played just fine on this laptop. Perfect? No. But certainly HD.

Wow... It isn't really a good GFX though, it's part of an APU. Playing on extreme, maybe on a lower res, but NOT ON 1920x1080. I may think you are lying.

I believe you mistook his computer resolution with his (unlisted) laptop resolution.
