Radeon HD 6520G Game Requirement Analysis

Radeon HD 6520G is an integrated mobile graphics card in some of AMD's mid-range APUs.
Its performance depends largely on the processor it's embedded on and on the system's memory configuration which, if dual-channeled, should provide modest gaming at 720p in some modern games.

to my knowledge the max resolution for the Radeon HD 6520G is 1600x900, but the Game-Debate full reports calculate it based on 1920x1080. (In other words the reports are too conservative, says I may not have enough GPU when I actually do).

GPU always bottlenecks with most games and definitely does not age well with time. CPU cores are 1.4Ghz, most games usually use 1 or 2 cores, so there is a lot of wasted potential (better to be duo 2.8Ghz imo).

Maybe he had single channel memory and now with 2 sticks as dual channel, doubling 6520G's bandwidth.

I overclocked my APU. It's currently running 2.4 GHz around the clock, with a turbo boost of 2.6. (If I could find a stable undervolt, I could take it even higher. But I digress…
I've played quite a few games on it, and had no problems. Left 4 Dead(2 as well), Portal, Batman Arkham Asylum, Sonic Generations, Audiosurf, all have played just fine on this laptop. Perfect? No. But certainly HD.

How did you overclock? I would love to squeeze some more performance out. I'm also wondering if you found a stable undervolt since 2012.

Wow… It isn't really a good GFX though, it's part of an APU. Playing on extreme, maybe on a lower res, but NOT ON 1920x1080. I may think you are lying.

I believe you mistook his computer resolution with his (unlisted) laptop resolution.
