Radeon HD 4850 Review
Radeon HD 4850 is a high-end GFX based on the 55nm, third unified shader architecture, R700.
It's based on the RV770 PRO Core and offers 800 Shader Processing Units, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs a 256-bit memory interface of standard GDDR3. The central unit runs at 625MHz and the memory clock runs at up to 993MHz.
Some of today's modern games should run fluently at high settings but with modest resolutions. DirectX 11 games aren't supported.

my GT650M is according to GD 6% worse than this^^;
I can play most games at 1600×900 high settings,
only problem of HD4850 is only 512MB memory, some games will have problem
with it...

This GPU and many more of older series were quite underrated. It's not better than yours due to the old drivers.

lol, officials are often wrong, i can say it from my experience, becouse in my very very old pc i was running GF FX 5900 on 230W (very bad psu) though recomended was minimum 350 and now i run my GFX on 240W and ia play everything without sistem damage or something like this :D so i think he just can easily go for much better card :D... good luck to you guys !

I ran a 4830 for a while on a 460 PSU... no problem at all. Also the 4850 should be no problem for your PSU. so the choice is up to you... (also if you overclock the 4830 it will be able to rum about as fast as the 4850 ;))
mrkac1994
20:09 Sep-03-2012

@kibber440 That's great news :DD I don't wan't to overclock cuz' it will shorten lifespan of the card,but anyway I'll get one of those 2 cards,I'll see which one will cost less....Thank you very,very much,helped me ALOT :DDD
