Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3 Review
Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3 is a fast-middle-class GPU part of the Radeon HD 6000 Series released by AMD in 2010-2011.
There are two versions available: one with fast GDDR5 memory type and another with standard DDR3.
This version has 2GB of DDR3 memory type which results in a solid fast-middle-class GPU capable of playing Very Demanding games like Metro 2033 and The Witcher II at medium settings smoothly. Modern demanding games like Crysis 2 and Skyrim V will run at high settings with fluent FPS. Its biggest hindrance is still the limited memory bandwidth, meaning it won't take advantage of the 2GB of video memory and so AA and other techniques might have to be disabled to achieve fluent FPS.

need some advice, soon ill be getting all new pc parts: asus maximus formula motherboard, core 2 quad (2.4ghz) cpu, 4x1gb crucial ballistix led tracer.
right now i have a radeon hd 5450 which would give my computer a seriously bad bottleneck, and ive been offered this card for £70, i know that the 6670 would reduce it but is there a better card i could get for the same price? thanks

Should I go for this card or a NVIDIA GT 640, I am looking to update my rig to 8 GB RAM and a new Graphics Card.

If you were to get a HD6670, I would recommend the 1GB GDDR5 version.
Between this and a GT 640, I would go for the nVidia card.

Your DDR3 limit refers to the type of RAM, not the video card. Any mobo supports a GDDR5 Video card. If you have the money, you could get something better like HD7770 or GTX 560 would fit nicely with your rig, or a capable HD6670 which requires no power connector will still perform nice under your resolution, and upgrading to 4GB of RAM would be necessary, depending on your operative system

You can know the correct output of PSU via consulting a hardware expert or shopkeeper, he will check it via voltmeter or Multimeter... ;)

It depends on your budget, but as Pip and Amekdala suggested, the 6850 or the GTX 560 Ti are the best bang of the buck atm :D

Just see the numbers "6670" "4870"... it means that 4870 is one of the latest cards in 4000 series.. and 6670 is not 6870 lol..
