Radeon HD 4670 AGP Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
Radeon HD 4670 AGP is a Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the R700 Architecture.

Architecture
R700 was AMD's Second Unified Shader Architecture.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed RV730 XT which has 4 Compute Units activated and thus offers 320 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 750MHz.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of GDDR3, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 800MHz.

Features
DirectX 10.1 Support (10.0 Hardware Default) and support for Crossfire.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 59W, it requires at least a 400W PSU and it relies entirely on the PCI slot for power meaning no extra connectors are required.

Performance
Gaming benchmarks put its performance somewhat below a GeForce GT 240.

Also would like to say that the AGP version of this requires a free molex connector as it uses a 12 volt molex connection to power the bridgechip(ATi Rialto)chip on the video card also if anyone is using this card or any of the other radeon HD AGP cards(3450 HD,4350 HD,3850 HD,Or 4670 HD) then be sure to put a Video card memory heatsink on the bridge chip (bare chip on back) as it gets really hot!

Guys, I need help!
I have an XFX Radeon HD 1GB DDR2 over here, and I am getting such surprisingly POORER PERFORMANCE!
Speaking of simple games, like Portal 2! Though everywhere tells me I should be fine to run it at 1080p on max settings, including game-debate (I'm aware my card is a bit different), I get 17 avg fps!
17 fps on Portal 2!
The only way I can get 60 fps is going 720p with all settings annoyingly lowered.

My old video card still have it in use in my old reliable back up rig! Which I use for old windows XP games and such or in case the computer I am using right now goes down (god forbid….). It is and still was a good card for its time the best AGP Card actually! Performs great if you don't bottleneck by using a weak CPU and if you have reasonable expectations for it! Plays older games great!
