GeForce GTX 550 Ti Asus Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 550 Ti Asus Edition is a special edition of the GeForce GTX 550 Ti. See the page of the standard version for more information.
The features include better cooling and an increase on the core-clock from 900MHz to 910MHz.
Benchmarks indicate the performance is basically the same.
Some modern demanding games will run at the highest settings using a 1080p resolution but the largest part will have to be played with a 720p resolution to be played optimally.
This Graphics Card needs to be paired with a decent Quad Core CPU.

Tejas, it's too pricy I'm guessing for him, because if it's not, then yeah go for BOOST, but if you are short on Money, I'd reckon the Gtx 650 TI from Palit.

I am confused, which one is better; this or Radeon7750? Thank you for your time.

7750 consumes much less power and heats less due to more recent GPU architecture at 22nm. Perhaps 550 ti is a better performer, but only very slightly.

Should I go with this card or the Radeon 6850? I'm a nvidia fanboy, so I may go with this. Any ideas?

Of course it should. What is the value on the 12V by the way, or model of PSU? :D

Yes it does. GTX 550Ti is also as equal to gtx 650. You might want to look at 650Ti also, because it is 20-33% faster than 550ti and 650.

Your cpu will handle anything. If bottleneck is your only worry, go get a HD7970 or something, it won't matter. If you go to 650ti budget, you'd better get a cheap HD7850..
