ok i overclocked core clock to 750mhz and memory was 900mhz

My scores here,complete stock frequencies ,no overclock.
i did this benchmark after playing crysis 2 for a hour and GPU temperature reached 58'c so maybe cpu and gpu are throttling.
Running latest Catalyst 13.5 drivers

I have a laptop with an amd A8-4500m Processor, paired with this 7730m GPU. i knew at the beginning the integrated 7640g couldnt be crossfired with the 7730, i just thought it would be handy for low power gaming on the go. HOWEVER since i upgraded to i think it was around version 12 beta but also the current Catalyst 13.5 Beta Driver i have an 'enable dual graphics' option in the CCC. I tested dual graphics in dx11 crysis2 and tomb raider.....

......and system monitor shows both gpus working. I also get the 'dual graphics' logo in the top right corner of the screen. Performance seems worse than the 7730 on its own and i also get bizzarre screen tearing. I'm just curious because this seems odd since i shouldnt be able to pair them at all? Is this a new feature they're implementing? Universal dual graphics cabability?

are you talking about memory clocks or core clocks??
can you explain??
i can get core clocks 750mhz max on Afterburner, on which after 705mhz, AMD driver crashes, and memory to 990mhz..

what?? where you got this info??
and it does'nt work that way, numbering system is always different for each GPU generation, you just can't guess the performance by looking at the numbers, take this year's card for example, according to notebookcheck, 7730m-8790m and 7730m>>>>>8830m, so numbering does'nt matter here, what matters is how the GPU performs..

Some ranks were adjusted based on real game benchmarks rather than 3D Mark Scores. For example if I were to rank 7660G based on the 3D Mark Score I would rank it as high as a GT 650M. Now we all know that's not its true performance. Even so, 7730M is behind GT 640M even on 3D Mark and on all benchmarks. That's why it's ranked lower. It's just a coincidence that this one is a 5 and 640M a 6. The different in % is what matters.

really, then GD has gone down in terms of quality, i am following a forum where users own both 14R (640m) and 15R (7730m), and mostly 7730m beats 640m hands down, 640m wins where game is heavily nvidia optimized (Arkham city, MP3)..
You should know that GCN based architecture of AMD is far better than nvidia kepler, and even outside gaming, GCN beats kepler in terms of performance..
So you should check overall performance for ratings..
