GeForce GTX 760 Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 760 is a mainstream Graphics Card based on the 28nm, Kepler architecture.
It packs a Kepler GK104 Core and therefore offer 1152 Shader Processing Units, 96 TMUs and 32 ROPs on a 256-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. While its central unit runs at 980MHz and goes up to 1032MHz, in Turbo Mode, the memory clock operates at 1502MHz. It draws up to 170W.
Benchmarks indicate its performance is superior to GeForce GTX 660 Ti and just a little beneath GeForce GTX 670.
Suited for a 1080p resolution, most modern games will run at the highest settings while extremely demanding games, such as Crysis 3 & Metro Last Light will require a more modest preset to be played optimally.

Hello,

I'm about to buy this graphics card from my friend, I just wanted to know if it will bottleneck with my i5-750, actually I have a GTS 250 which is extremely SLOW in newer games (and DirectX 10 made some games crashes). If it will bottleneck, please tell me some other graphics cards instead of this one.

Thank you in advance.

You will be fine. I've had a factory overclocked GTX750Ti coupled with i5-650 (two cores i5, yours four) back in 2014 and it was fine. The GPU was actually underpowered compared to my i5-650.

This or R9 280? considering that i play at 1080P and won't upgrade until 2018 after buying the new card. In my country both of these GPUs are around half of the price of an used 960.

I would say the R9 280 due to its additional 1 gigabyte of VRAM. However, I would only pick either card if these cards are as cheap as you say and new GPUs like the RX 470 are completely out of reach.

Neither of them, you can go with the gtx 960 4GB VRAM, VRam is pretty important with the latest games, with my GPU i have noticed some stuttering due vram (gtav, just cause 3, Rise of the tomb raider just to name a few), so you should go with the 960 4gb or wait for the 1060, good luck :P

yes, A10 5745 maximum possible GPU is an GTX 750 or an R7 260, and even with it will bottleneck a little.

I just got in 3 computers with a Q6700, Tested them with 2GB HD 7850 it uses 100% but the CPU uses around 60-70%, so what graphics card can i get that's better but wont get bottleneck-ed much by the CPU?

I thought-R9 270x?/GTX 760?
