Radeon HD 7690M XT Review
Radeon HD 7690M XT is an upper-middle-class GPU part of the Radeon HD Mobility Series released by AMD in 2012.
It's basically a renamed Radeon HD 6770M, still based on the old architecture and therefore offers exactly the same performance. Very Demanding games will require reduced settings to run smoothly while other games should run fluently at high settings.

this card is a PIece of *******. I had a laptop with i7 2670qm, 8gb of ram, hd 7690m xt 2gb gddr5 1600x900 )hp dv7). I had soooo much problems--blue screen of death, freezing, amd driver stopped responding, lowering memory clocks, not good drivers, crashing and 2 minutes to change from intel gpu to amd gpu and going in to bios and putting it on fixed. +my motherboard broke down. Rplaced my laptop with asus n76vz. Changing betwen GPUs in 0.1 secon

Perhaps you are gaming with Intel HD 3000 and not your Radeon.

hey i have one question. i have 2 Graphics Cards. The Radeon (TM) HD 7690M XT, and the Intel(R) Graphics Family. My laptop has the Intel set as the main. And i have set up switchable graphics to make the Radeon work on pretty much all my stuff. But how do i actually know if the Radeon is being used?

Go into BIOS and switch graphics to fixed. If your laptop is HP then don`t use hp`s drivers for they are pretty much sh**. Download the leshcatlab one.

Actually this GPU can't max out those games @1080p.So a little improvement but nothing more.Because of 128bit Bus this GPU can't use 2GB memory. :)
(Every game can be maxed out @1080p with 1GB, a few requires 1.5GB but can be played with 1GB, don't forget GTX 570 1GB)

My version (Hp dv6) doesn't support openGL, nor can I get the catalyst control center to switch to fixed mode, it seems to be missing that functionality as well. Hopefully they will eventually fix that.
Buyer Beware.
Edit: The GFX itself supports openGL, but the firmware doesn't.
