GeForce GT 610 is an Entry-Level Graphics Card based on the first revision of the Fermi Architecture.
The Fermi Architecture is manufactured with a 40nm technology and uses a technique known as Hot Clocking: The Shaders are clocked twice as fast as the Central Unit. While this leads to a reasonable performance boost, it causes enormous amounts of energy dissipation, leading, ultimately, to a significantly higher operating temperature.
Fermi is also the first GPU architecture with fully cached memory access which increases memory performance.
It equips a GPU codenamed GF119-300-A1 which has 1 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 48 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 810MHz.
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 64-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 900MHz.
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for 3D Vision Surround, PhysX, Realtime Raytracing and other technologies.
The Cooling Solution consists of a Single-Fan.
With a rated board TDP of 29W, it requires at least a 300W PSU and it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.
GeForce GT 610 is a direct rebrand of GeForce GT 520.
Gaming benchmarks put its performance somewhat below Radeon HD 6450.
We recommend a modest processor (Intel Celeron) and 4GB of RAM for a system with GeForce GT 610.
Underrated card.It can run gta 5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3YoZ3BrK4g
I love you baby i maybe poor but i'm happy, my ever lasting PC and GPU
My old gpu . Couldn't even run bf2 on highest settings on 60fps .
my 8600GT is 33% better then this and it was make in 2007
should i upgrade????
i am planning to upgrade my cpu to dual core 4th gen and ram 4 gb 1333mhz
mother board GIGABYTE H81M-S1 but gpu not for another 6 months what games can i play? thanks
Will this card play Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum laude on windows 7 64bit?
I am trying to play Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude, but I fail on two things which it does not tell me, it just says fail. I thought maybe the amount of memory system memory or video memory, but I went into bios and messed with it
Hahaha My GT9500 is 104% Better than this card lol … i cant imagine whats a teribble Card it is :D :D
Will this gpu support dx12 at all?
