Radeon HD 7850 Gigabyte OC Edition Review
Radeon HD 7850 Gigabyte OC Edition is a special edition of the powerful Radeon HD 7850. See the standard version for more information about it.
The differences include an increase on the core-clock that went from 860MHz to 975MHz, and a new quiet and efficient cooling system.
Benchmarks indicate a 7% performance boost when compared to the standard Radeon HD 7850.
All games, including demanding one's, will run at the highest settings.

I have a 450W PSU [Zebronics Gold SMPS: ZEB-450W(T-SATA-PLUS)]
Is it a good PSU?
Is it good enough to run this card without any issues?
Could you guys check out my specs and give me some advise?
Could you suggest the best graphics card match for my CPU?
Intel Core I5-2320 3.0GHZ.
Thank you in advance.

your CPU is good enough, it can handle this GPU without any problem. But i'm not so sure about the PSU though, because this GPU needs 500 watt PSU to run as described above.

Thank you for your reply.
I understood that it requires 500W.
But i assumed that my other pc components arent using so much power.
So this card which requires a Max power of 130W might work well.
Thats why i asked that question.
I need some more help.

well as for me, it's better to be safe than sorry. If the PSU is a branded one like Corsair, then you're good to go..

hi. What is the total amps on 12v rail for this psu? couldnt find that anywhere.. psu wattage isnt worth anything if the psu has insufficient apms on 12v rail :)

yep just what I needed to know.
I dont recommend you to try running this gpu with your current psu because there is a risk that psu will blow and damage some of your PC components.. get a new psu buddy :)

Could you suggest a good graphics card that my PSU and processor can handle?
(I prefer a GD rating of 10)

um, to be true I wouldnt risk running anything more power hungry than the 6670 :/
you should really get a new psu before getting a gpu upgrade.

Sorry for asking again. Iam curious about these cards: GeForce GTX 650 Ti and GTX 660. They seem to require less power. Can my PSU handle one of these?
emilsz
14:11 May-05-2013

your psu might be able to handle a 650ti, but I really wouldnt risk it. :)
a psu opgrade should be a priority for you buddy.

Thanks again.

14:21 May-05-2013

it would work. For some time.. It might actually work very well for you, but then again the psu can blow not being able to handle the new card and damage your new gpu, mobo, a hdd.

yup :) don't take the risk, because if you risk it it might give you BSOD for not being able to get more power (trust me, my old crappy 500w PSU keeps gettin' me BSOD) and worst case of scenario is that the other components of your PC's might get damaged..

I just got this card and am thus far impressed, but I was wondering if it's the best option as a future-proof upgrade or if it'd be better to exchange for a 7950 or GTX 660 Ti. Any ideas?

but still I am not huge fan of dual 12V rail with 31A combined -15A one each? thats weak and it also tell us about low quality of inside parts
