FX-8320 is a high-end CPU based on the 32nm Piledriver architecture.


It offers 8 Physical Cores (8 Logical), initially clocked at 3.5GHz, which may go up to 4.0GHz and 8MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated and the clock multiplier is unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily.


The processor DOES NOT integrated any graphics. and has a rated board TDP of 125W.


It performs around 20% worse. Its performance is very good and sufficient for extreme gaming.

if your gonna ask me about 4.2Ghz or higher if you can stay on lower Vcore. .but you should change your power supply just to make sure an entry level CX700M or of from SeasonSonic or even Cooler Master wouldn't hurt I think

700w, 650w on v12 line (85+ cert) , why you think i need another one?
I oc cpu to 4,2 and max vcore is 1,4 is that good?

4.2GHZ with 1.4xxvcore . .a bit too high but its just that every chip behave differently and you didn't won the silicon lottery. .have you try lowering it a bit and increasing the multiplier?

my Intel/Nvidia fanboy friend says "No AMD processor is as good as ANY I5 Processor" .I told him i can play any game on at least Medium/High, he then said thats only because of youre, Nvidia graphics cards.(Facepalm)

dont wory mate you cpu is very good… it can be also overclocked easy wich makes more future proo and you can do also more multitasking whille gaming then i5 cpu.

AMD CPU's are good for gaming . .yes i5's are better but if your just gaming..the thing is you should just buy a decent cpu and put the extra money on your graphics card if your just gaming.
