FX-8320 is a high-end CPU based on the 32nm Piledriver architecture.
It offers 8 Physical Cores (8 Logical), initially clocked at 3.5GHz, which may go up to 4.0GHz and 8MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated and the clock multiplier is unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily.
The processor DOES NOT integrated any graphics. and has a rated board TDP of 125W.
It performs around 20% worse. Its performance is very good and sufficient for extreme gaming.
Would a 430w corsair psu be enough for this cpu?, I won't be doing any overclock.
If I would buy a GTX 970 would this bottleneck it and if so what GPU should i buy?
using this in a build for a friend. how well will it match up with a 280x?
will this bottleneck r9 380?
My faithful A8-3870K has just died. I'm looking at this CPU as an upgrade. Any suggestions for motherboards? I'm trying to keep my budget as close to €200 as possible, and the prices I've seen for this processor come in around €160, so I'd like to get a motherboard for in or around -- or preferably less than -- €80 if possible. Any suggestions?
Will I be able to OC this cpu to 4GHz (Or even more) with these components?:
MB: Asus M5A97 R2.0
PSU: Tacens M 700W
CM Hyper TX3Evo
Thanks in advance
this is my test rig, so will this be a good combo?
This CPU is crazy for multitasking. I got up to 402 processes running according to task manager with only 51% CPU usage!
Would this CPU fit ony my 550W PSU? without changing my GPU
