FX-8320 is a high-end CPU based on the 32nm Piledriver architecture.
It offers 8 Physical Cores (8 Logical), initially clocked at 3.5GHz, which may go up to 4.0GHz and 8MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated and the clock multiplier is unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily.
The processor DOES NOT integrated any graphics. and has a rated board TDP of 125W.
It performs around 20% worse. Its performance is very good and sufficient for extreme gaming.
is that really matters?
fx 6350 or fx 8320 for gaming?
if I have r9 290
Does this CPU use all 8 cores while gaming ? like latest game ? such as Dying Light , Farcry 4, ACU, thanks for help in advance :)
I have a 400w be quiet system power 7 would this CPU run on that?
why does this say it has 8 physical cores when it only has 4 physical?
I was just wondering whats the highest I can oc this my motherboard is a Asrock 970 Extreme4, also i got the stock cooler on it
To anyone buying this chip I strongly advise you to invest in an aftermarket cooler. Stock cooler is loud and weak. 30-40 dollar cpu cooler will work wonders
Planning on upgrading my cpu and was thinking about this, is it wise for me?
My rig is just a test rig. Could this run with Gtx 750 and cooler master b500
can i run this processor well with msi 970 gaming mobo ? I wont be overclocking too much .. Maybe sometime though. I'll be using kingston 1866 8 gb ram. And my current gpu. And will corsair gs600 be sufficient psu? I'm upgrading soon. So need help in choosing. :)
Please help. Thanks in advance
How will this processor go with my GpU? Could I max most games? I also upgraded to this from my old Fx 4100. Wondering what the difference is.
