FX-8320 is a high-end CPU based on the 32nm Piledriver architecture.
It offers 8 Physical Cores (8 Logical), initially clocked at 3.5GHz, which may go up to 4.0GHz and 8MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated and the clock multiplier is unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily.
The processor DOES NOT integrated any graphics. and has a rated board TDP of 125W.
It performs around 20% worse. Its performance is very good and sufficient for extreme gaming.
msi 970 gaming mobo good for this?? any mobo cheaper than the one i said ok with this cpu. i wont OC. my budget's not big enough. just bought this. and i dont think its compatible with my mobo. HELP.
Guys which PSU is recommended for my rig. I have 500w PSU but i want to upgrade it, because i want to get with my processor 4ghz speed constantly.
I am so glad I went with this CPU
Would a GTX 770 fit this cpu well?
if so what PSU would you suggest with FX 8320 3.5ghz and gtx 770.
Is it normal when i power on my PC, it starts for a 1-2 seconds, then shutdown and power on again(by it self) and boot normaly. It started since i O.C my CPU, is not overheating or anything like that.
my cpu wont hit 4hz in turbo, only 3.7max,way?
This is a very underrated processor for the price it practically a slightly slower cpu than the 8350 but the price difference is like 30 usd. Guess that the hype of the 8350 is stronger than this one.
will it work on this motherboard and Is it worth upgrading?
Could I reliably overclock this one to 4 GHz using just a 125W-motherboard, like the MSi 970A-G43? (I'm using an aftermarket cooling unit)
Should i sell my FX-6300, buy the FX-8320 and OC it to 4Ghz, or buy a 1080p monitor?
