Sorry for such a stupid question I'm new to this stuff but will having the battery plugged in reduce the temperature of the computer? thanks very much?

HI. Personally, I can't tell that having the battery pugged in or not plugged in has any effect on the temperature of my computer when running of a wall jack.

Unpluget battery can reduce temperature of laptop - recharging or dicharging produces heat which heats computer. Of course it is not a big increase of temperature, but batery can have up to 50 degrees of Celsius while recharging.
