FX-9370 is a high-end CPU based on the 32nm Piledriver architecture.


It offers 8 Physical Cores (8 Logical), initially clocked at 4.4GHz, which may go up to 4.7GHz and 8MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated and the clock multiplier is unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily.


The processor DOES NOT integrated any graphics. and has a rated board TDP of 220W.


Compared to its predecessor FX-8150 there's an overall 19% performance boost. Its performance is exceptionally good and enough for even the most demanding applications.

this cpu would require a better mobo. get an asrock fatality 990fx and use that to overclock your cpu and gpu.

I guess this is top notch processor that one can get with Am3+ socket. Think i should buy it? looking for a decent amount of performance increase. Wondering is this worth 220 euros for me?

Your CPU will suffice for a long term period. I wouldn't recommend upgrading unless you are going for an i7 and even that performance boost would be a lot more theatrical. I think you should wait for now. Your set can run almost most games on ultra for and now future period too ;)

Got the msi 990fxa gd 80 v2 and got more temp issues with the momo .. 72C then the cpu to 65-67 .. I so **ed up .. don't know what to do .. and yeah don't want to pay 100euros for a liquid cooling..
