Ok APU But The Question I Have Is This-Why does it seem that this runs at the same perfomance level as the A10-7860K When All The Main Specs Are Much Higher On This Then The A10-7860K?

Misinformation is a bad thing.

  1. This apu only crossfires with R7 240/50 thats it.
  2. Suitable ram is 2133mhz/2400mhz - 2133mhz is the sweet spot and less $ as it can boost to 2400mhz with the right set or xmp profile.
  3. This apu and ram matched alone with no gpu is suitable for gaming @1080p/720p 30 fps and mor

Hi, im planning to build a budget gaming pc, and i found this apu, ill eventually add an gpu later on. Can someone tell me what max ram memory can it handle? Is a 2400Mhz CL 11 2x4Gb ram good? Or is it too much? I'm kinda of newbie in computers so i would like to know your opinions and helping me with this budget rig.

According to the motherboard you have selected with your current rig (the ASUS A68HM-K), the max amount of RAM it can support is 32GB. For gaming however, you never really need more than 8GB (as of right now). So 8GB of RAM is a perfect amount. Just be sure the RAM is DDR3.

Yes it is DDR3. But what i wanted to know is if it supports a 2400MHz 8Gb Ram kit, or is the 2133Mhz Ram better? Some say that at 2400MHz Ram the computer starts to freeze and they dont recommend that frequecy, other's say it works very well. And sorry, the mobo is mistaked, its an Asus A58M-K.

Thank you

2133Mhz would be more stable with that motherboard.

There's a rumor going on about a Zen 16 core APU that's going to be released by AMD. If this is true then i'm so going to watch out for it.

What is the best graphics card for this CPU? Nvidia or AMD I have no preferences.

Don't mention anything about dual graphics…please.

Well it is dual graphics but AMD of course. The cpu has a graphics hybrid mode where it can pair with another AMD GPU on board (I.E r9 270) and boost performance. Think of it as a crossfire setup.

If you didn't get the apu yet, you should consider getting a cpu+gpu for better performance from each component. If you already have the apu, you should be okay rocking a 280/x, though the apu might hold the gpu back in some cpu intensive games. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.

I rang a local computer store, it will not make a noticeable difference. Time to get an FX8350 and a new Motherboard.
